Отработка на отдельных предприятиях основных элементов и типовых решений по созданию автоматизированной системы управления и перенос ее целиком или отдельных ее частей на другие предприятия, где имеются аналогичные технические и организационные условия. Опыт показал, что тиражирование целых систем в большинстве случае невозможно из-за разнообразия условий на разных даже родственных предприятиях. Поэтому развивается второй из указанных подходов: типизация и тиражирование отдельных частей (подсистем) АСУ, предназначенных для решения конкретных задач управления, для чего широко используется распространение типовых пакетов прикладных программ для ЭВМ.
